Incorporated in 2001, CEPG is a not for profit organisation of around 400 concerned individuals, including engineers, journalists, lawyers, environmentalists, architects, business and tradespeople, conservationists and community members young and old, all with a passionate interest in the coast between Grange and Semaphore Park.
The aim of CEPG is to preserve, restore and protect the integrity of remaining Adelaide Metropolitan dune systems. This coastal strip includes the fragile heritage dunes around Estcourt House. Impacts on the marine environment are also of concern to us. Our goal is ensuring that the dunes and beach are available in perpetuity to all of the community, but without the useage impacting adversely on the dunesʼ flora and fauna.
